HEB Central Market Goes Where Other Grocery Stores Don't

Austin, Texas - HEB prides itself in working with local farmers and growers across the state of Texas as the San Antonio-based company has been turning heads nationally for their growth and revenue.

But as great as HEB is, their Central Market really hits home in certain places and ways that their normal supermarkets do not.

Located in Central Austin on Lamar (they have a South location as well), visitors of Central Market may have realized over the years that parking during peak times there can be almost impossible, but there's a good reason for this.

Not only are the prices at Central Market more competitive than their counterparts at Whole Foods, but HEB's guarantee of working with locals in Texas over out-of-state growers gives visitors the comfort of knowing that they are eating locally as well.

This is a drastic advantage over a Whole Foods which once was a Texas-based company but since going nationally their distribution base covers the entire country.

When at Central Market, visitors can dive right into fresh fruits and vegetables, their organic selection trumps their regular grocery stores' but perhaps it is in the seafood section that you will find the greatest difference.

Fish from all over the Gulf of Mexico can be found, then across the large room one can find lamb, grass fed beef, numerous different chicken preparations and just about any type of sausage you could think about.

If you're looking for a greater variety than your average HEB store and would like to keep your purchases in the state of Texas benefiting Texans, we would highly recommend HEB's Central Market.

PS: check out their live music schedule on the patio!
